Juventus vs Victoria (June 8, 2011)

We won like 5-0, that team sucks a lot, they lost to a team that was younger then them. Our team played so good against them our passing and shooting was amazing. Unfortunately, I didn't score but I was so close to. At the beginning of the game my coach gave me the captain arm badge and told me to wear, I was so happy when he did that. Also after the game almost everyone congratulated me on how well I played. But that was the easiest team in the league and on Thursday, we have to play the hardest team in the league so we have to bring our game in order to beat them.

U-13 Girls Alberta Soccer Team

I am so happy, I made the U-13 Girls Alberta Soccer Team out of hundreds of girls. I am so proud of myself and excited to experience a life time achievement. Now I get to got to inclusive training camps and to Winnipeg, to play in a soccer tournament. This a chance for me to experience a very professional soccer team and play against other provinces. I am glad to represent Alberta by playing on the U-13 Girls Alberta Soccer Team. 

Juventus vs Phoenix (June 2, 2011)

What a boring game! It was not intense at all and was the slowest game I have ever played. Unfortunately, we were missing 3 of our players and did have a bad game, not just because we lost. In the first half, we had most of the possession and were in the opponents half almost all the time. Then in the second half we didn't have possession more than 50% and were slow getting to the ball. We didn't score any goals, but we could've in the first half. There was about 6 shots that were decent shots, but they did not go in. It just wasn't our game. We tried our best and in the end we are younger then them by one or two years.

Juventus 98 vs Juventus 97 (May 31, 2011)

This game was probably the most exciting so far. It was the older 1997 Juventus girls playing the 1998 Juventus girls. As I have told you before my team plays in a whole league higher because we are that good. So I might as well skip right to the chase my team won! How amazing we beat the older Juventus girls, they must feel so ashamed. We did score the first goal, but then they scored one goal right after us. Finally, ten minutes before the game ended we were in there half and my friend crossed it over into the box and I tapped it in. We scored, more importantly I scored the game winning goal! I kind've feel bad for the older Juventus team, but let's face it we are better.

ASA (Alberta Soccer Association) Regional Tryouts

This was it, my chance to show what i was worth and make the U13 girls Alberta soccer team and travel across Canada playing other teams. But first I had to accomplish one thing the regional tryouts. I had to prove to the ASA coaches that I was worth scouting for and am able to play on the Alberta team. I obviously wasn't the only girl there to compete and earn my spot in the team, so I had to work really hard in order to make it. This is how my tryouts began. I would have to play two normal games against other teams and the way we play is the way we are getting scouted. So if we performed good in front of them we make it and if we do not play good we get cut. This is probably the biggest opportunity I have had in my life!

Juventus vs Scottish (May 24, 2011)

Unfortunately, the game did not turn out the way my team and I planned it to go. We were all so pumped to play an older team that was wiser and faster than us. In the first half we were lucky enough to score the first goal and able to sustain ourselves until they scored two goals. After that, we got weaker and played not to our potential for the rest of the first half. When the referee blew his whistle, we all huddled in and our coach gave us a pep talk. In the second half we played absolutely amazing, we shut down their main player and was able to keep possession with the ball. Though we did lose in the end because we did not take our chances at net we suffered the consequence. At the end of the game our coach congratulated us for playing a well fought game against a very good older team.  

Attacking Practice (May 19, 2011)

Finally, our soccer team gets to focus on shooting accuracy and tricks to beat defenders. This practice was based on attacking. We practiced shooting my different angles and distances, chips, corner kicks, and fancy tricks. The whole practice we did non-stop attacking drills and one on one attacking. By the end of the practice we were shooting like pros. Here is a video showing how the major league players beat defender and score goals. You will watch the best goals scored in the past decade.

First Game (May 15, 2011)

I had my first game of the league for the outdoor season. My team this season is playing against girls that are 1 or 2 years older than us. We moved up a league because of our awesomeness and how good we are. It was our first game and everyone was nervous. As we stepped on the field for the beginning of the game, we were all scared and pumped at the same time. The first half was quite slow and nobody scored, but in the second half we picked our game and speed. In the end we took our chances at net and scored 5 goals. When the ref blew the whistle a rush of excitement flew into all of us as we ran towards our keeper. Winning a game 5-0 was unbelieveable since we were playing against girls that were twice the size of some of us and are older. A younger team beating an older team what an embrassement.

Introduction
